John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
I am so grateful that Jesus Christ keeps it real for us believers! He never sugar coated his message to appease people. He never told us that living in this world would be easy, but, He did promise us peace if we remain in him.
When we find ourselves experiencing “weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities” they just may be opportunities in disguise for spreading the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Be mindful that trials and tribulations are times of testing that turns into testimonies, and produces growth and maturity us in our relationship with Christ. Be of good cheer, the storms in our lives never come to stay, they come to pass!
James 1:12 {NIV} “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
