Unlimited Peace

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

With these words Jesus told his disciples to take courage, because He had endured the worst this world can dish out and was victorious over it. He broke and defeated the power of sin and death, and He brought life and immortality to light.

During our times of trials and tribulations, we can take heart and have unlimited peace. Not because things are easy, but because the hard things of this life are temporary and are preparing for us an eternal glory. Our peace is in Jesus Christ and what he has done to make our future sure!

This means that what Jesus represented cannot be defeated. His truth cannot be killed; it resurrects! His love cannot be stopped; it endures! Ultimately God wins, and through faith in him, the peace, the healing, and the victory is ours. We can claim the peace of Jesus Christ in our most difficult times.

Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, during our times of trails, and tribulations, stir our heart with your peace, and help us to remember that we can hide in the secret place of the Most High, because You are our Shield, and our Refuge. Help us to remember all your promises, your faithfulness, and your triumph over Satan and death through Jesus Christ, amen!
