Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were being pressured to deny God, or be thrown into a fiery furnace, but they chose to be faithful to their God, no matter what.
Two words used by the three Hebrew boys make all the difference. Those words are “is able.” These are the words of faith! These boys knew that the fire in the furnace was real hot. God did not save us to lose us to a fiery trial. He will meet us in the blaze and He will strengthen us and keep us in prefect peace, if we keep the faith, and continue to trust Him. It doesn’t matter what you may be facing, God is bigger, stronger, wiser and more powerful. Like the Hebrew boys, we must be willing to trust and believe that He “is able!
